LISBON – Sue and Marc Desjardins of Lisbon and Mike St. Pierre of Mechanic Falls are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Sarah Sue St. Pierre, to Christian Charles Gurney, son of Sherry and Charlie Gurney of Lisbon Falls.
Miss St. Pierre is a 2000 graduate of Lisbon High School and a 2004 graduate of the University of Southern Maine with a bachelor’s degree in science. She is employed as a nurse in the Family Birth Center at Maine Medical Center in Portland.
Mr. Gurney is a 1999 graduate of Lisbon High School and a graduate of St. Joseph’s College, with a bachelor’s degree in science. He is employed as a physical education teacher at Turner Elementary School and also coaches freshmen boys basketball Leavitt Area High School.
The couple plans to wed in June of 2006.
