FARMINGTON – Steve Mason of Livermore Falls recently won a W.A. Mitchell long handle step stool at an Heirlooms of Tomorrow guest drawing. The stool, valued at $158, will be “a welcome addition,” said Steve and his wife, Charlee. The Masons recently moved into their newly constructed home in Livermore Falls and found that upper cabinet and closet shelves were out of their reach.

Heirlooms holds a monthly drawing in conjunction with their visiting artist series. Carole Rickards of Peru is January’s artist. Known as “the bird lady,” Rickards can replicate many native bird species in photographic detail. Many members of Upcountry Artist, a local organization of diverse artists, have shown at Heirlooms and more are scheduled throughout the year.

Heirlooms is also an outlet for several members of the Guild of Maine Woodworkers and Maine Woodworkers Associations as well as local artists who did not previously have retail exposure.

The store is located at 710 Wilton Road.
