Movie showing

FARMINGTON – There will be a showing of the movie, “Waking Up French…! Rveil” by director Ben Levine at 4 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 10, in Thomas Auditorium, Preble Hall, University of Maine at Farmington.

Levine will lead a discussion and answer questions. The film is about the repression and renaissance of Franco-American culture in New England. Why did Maine once have the highest KKK membership? How is a culture dying without anyone doing anything about it?

The event is free, open to everyone and sponsored by the University of Maine at Farmington French Club and Foreign Language Department.
