NEW YORK (AP) – Two Delta Air Lines planes landed without incident at Kennedy Airport on Friday after authorities received several erroneous reports about the inbound international flights.

Officials interviewed the pilots and determined “there was absolutely no problem on board either flight,” said Steve Coleman, a spokesman for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey.

He said reports involved “people of interest” on board and another had a plane being escorted to Kennedy Airport by F-16 fighters.

The calls involved Flight 119 from Paris and Flight 81 from Amsterdam.

WNBC-TV earlier reported that Flight 119 had received a threat that came into NORAD, or the North American Aerospace Defense Command, in Colorado.
