OXFORD – Lake Thompson Fish and Game will offer .22 caliber pistol practice from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesdays in February and March at the clubhouse, Paine Road, East Oxford. The cost for 10 targets is $1.

The group will offer archery practice from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesdays in February and March, also at the clubhouse. The cost for practice is $2 for members and $3 for nonmembers.

Workshop series targets money

FRYEBURG – A workshop series, “Making Money Work for You,” will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursdays for five weeks starting March 3 at the Mollyocket Middle School.

“Participants in this series will learn how to gain control over their spending while developing a plan to reach their financial goals, reduce expenses and reduce debt,” said Ann Hamilton, UNH Extension educator and leader of the workshop.

The series will be held March 3, 10, 17, 24 and 31. There is a $12 materials fee a person or couple, and scholarships are available.

No services or products are sold or endorsed during the program.
