GREENE – Marion Bourgoin and Neil Patrick of Greene are pleased to announce the engagement of their son, Marc A. Bourgoin of Wiscasset, to Marjorie Buckley of Somerville, Mass., daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sean Buckley of County Cork, Ireland. Mr. Bourgoin is also the son of the late Stan Bourgoin.
Miss Buckley is a 1988 graduate of St. Aloysius Girls High School in Cork, Ireland, and has also graduated from the Muscular Therapy Institute in Cambridge, Mass. She is currently employed at Guiliano’s Day Spa in Boston, Mass., as a muscular therapist.
Mr. Bourgoin graduated from Edward Little High School in 1985 and the University of Maine at Farmington with a bachelor’s degree in business management. He is the owner and operator of Compass Rose Expeditions and is the New England sales representative for Boreal Design Sea Kayaks out of Quebec, Canada. He is also head alpine ski coach at Freeport High School.
The wedding is set for May 27 and will be held at Ballinncollig Cork, Ireland. A reception will immediately follow at the Innishannon House in County Cork. A reception will also be held in Maine at a later date.
