NEW GLOUCESTER – The wedding of Rindi Ruth Garey and John Charles Peters was held at 10 a.m. on Dec. 11 at the Bible Believing Baptist Church. Pastor Darwin Vail officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Peters is the daughter of Richard and Rebecca Garey of New Gloucester. Mr. Peters is the son of Jeanne Peters of Poplar Bluff, Mo.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a full-length strapless ivory satin gown with train and embroidered beads on the bodice and a chapel length veil. She carried a bouquet of red roses with holly leaves and berries and cedar.

Rachie St. Hilaire served as matron of honor for her sister and bridesmaids were Leesa Driscoll and Jane Bullion, friends of the bride. Tatiana St. Hilaire, niece of the bride, and Morgan Peters, niece of the bridegroom, were flower girls.

Serving as best man for his brother was Matthew Peters and ushers were Jason Blot, friend of the bridegroom, Rex Garey, brother of the bride, and Benjamin St. Hilaire, brother-in-law of the bride.

A reception followed at the Pineland Conference Center in New Gloucester. The couple is residing in Durham.
