ST. GOAR, Germany – St. Goar, Germany on the Rhine River in Germany was the scene of the marriage of Air Force Major Darren Miller and Margit Koelsch. The wedding ceremony was performed at the St. Goar Church which was founded in 1850.

The bride was escorted down the aisle by her future father-in-law, Roger W. Miller. A reception was held at the Castle Rheinfels overlooking the Rhine River.

Family members of the bridegroom from the United States were present at the ceremony. Eric Miller, brother of the bridegroom, served as best man.

The newly married couple will be returning to the United States in April, where Major Miller will be stationed in Albuquerque, N.M., where he will assume a position with Air Force AFOTEC.

Major Miller is the son of Roger and Marcelle Miller of Rumford.
