PARIS – Sexual Assault Crisis Support line training will be offered from 6 to 9 p.m. starting March 2.

The training is free and confidential, offering information and volunteer opportunities. The 12-week training will be held at the REACH office, 1 East Main St., South Paris.

Program change

BRYANT POND – Due to last week’s snowstorm, the program at the Whitman Memorial Library has been rescheduled to 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 17, when Susan Dorman will discuss her book and her writing. The free program is open to the public, and light refreshments will be served.

Seek nominations

BERLIN, N.H. – The Coos County Family Health Services board of directors is seeking nominations for the Sylvia Evans Citizenship Award, presented annually to a woman in the community who has made an outstanding contribution to the well-being of women and families in the North Country.

Any group or individual wishing to make a nomination may do so by sending a written description of the nominee’s contributions (with an emphasis on volunteer activities), along with the nominee’s name, address and telephone number to: Coos County Family Health Services, Attn: Sylvia Evans Award Committee, 54 Willow St., Berlin, NH 03570.
