LEWISTON – The wedding of Brooke M. Pinkham and James Thomas Trytek was held at 1 p.m. on Oct. 30 at St. Patrick’s Church. The Rev. Kevin Martin officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Trytek is the daughter of Alan and Sue Varney of Turner. Mr. Trytek is the son of Thomas and Brenda Trytek of Lewiston.

The bride, given in marriage by her uncle, Loring Witham, and father, Alan Varney, wore a princess style gown in tank style with Baton lace on the bodice and hemline. Beaded lace was featured on the semi-Cathedral train and a matching headpiece trimmed with lace and beading supported her veil. She carried a cascade of lavender and white roses, purple miniature carnations, white Dendrobium orchids and white stephanotis accented with English ivy.

Melanie Marie Chabot and Melissa Louise Damren, best friends, were maids of honor. Bridesmaids were Patricia Morin and Sarah Greren, friends, and Rochelle Dube, cousin of the bridegroom. Gracie Washburn, cousin of the bridegroom, was flower girl.

Matthew Quinn, college roommate, performed the duties of best man and ushers were John Trytek, brother of the bridegroom, Brett Pinkham, brother of the bride, and Brent and Ryan Dube, cousins of the bridegroom. Benjamin Trytek, cousin of the bridegroom, was ring bearer. Altar servers were Ivy Washburn and Becky and Joey Trytek, cousins of the bridegroom.

A reception followed at Martindale Country Club in Auburn, after which the couple went on a Caribbean cruise. They are residing in Turner.

The bride is a graduate of Leavitt Area High School and Central Maine Technical College with a degree in nursing. She is employed as a registered nurse at Central Maine Medical Center.

The bridegroom is a graduate of Syracuse University in Syracuse, N.Y., with a bachelor’s degree in exercise physiology. He is employed in the Cardiac Rehab Department at Central Maine Medical Center.
