LEWISTON – The YWCA of Central Maine has begun swim lesson registration for the spring session.

Lessons will be offered Monday through Thursday morning, afternoon and evenings and Saturday mornings. Classes are available for all abilities and ages, 6 months to adult. Classes may be a half hour or an hour, depending on level. They will begin on Saturday, Feb. 26, and continue for six to seven weeks.

Adult swim lessons will be offered from 9 to 9:30 a.m. Fridays. Private swim lessons are available by appointment.

Participants of the swim program must be members of the YWCA. Membership is good for a year and includes free membership swims and other discounted program fees. YWCA membership fees are child (up to 12), $25; youth (13 to 17), $35; adult (18 to 59), $50; senior citizen (60+), $40.
