BATH – Cherish the Ladies, an Irish-music ensemble, will perform at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 26, in The Chocolate Church Arts Center.

Organized by folklorist and musician Mick Moloney, Cherish the Ladies is known for its blend of instrumentals, vocals and arrangements, and for its step dancing.

The group has traveling throughout North and South America, the United Kingdom and Europe, both in the concert halls and at international festivals.

They have been named Entertainment Group of the Year by the Irish Voice Newspaper and received the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall’s International Group of the Year Award at the Celtic Connections Festival in Scotland. They have shared the stage with entertainers such as James Taylor, Joan Baez, Emmy Lou Harris, The Clancy Brothers, Tommy Makem, The Chieftains and dozens of symphony orchestras.

They have recorded seven albums, including the “Celtic Album,” their collaboration with the Boston Pops Symphony that received a 1999 Grammy nomination.
