SABATTUS – Walter and Adele Cox are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Lauren Cox of Sabattus, to Benjamin Shirley of Portland, son of the Rev. Kenneth and Gail Shirley of Richmond, Va.
Miss Cox is a 2002 graduate of Eastgate Christian Academy and is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in social and behavioral sciences at the University of Southern Maine.
Mr. Shirley is a 2001 graduate of Benedictine High School in Richmond, Va., and is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in fine art at Maine College of Art.
The couple plans to wed in June of 2006.
