MEXICO – The Child Health Center’s ProtectME program has announced that the River Valley Child Passenger Safety Fitting Station will be open from 10 a.m. to noon Friday, March 4, at the Mexico Fire Station.
The safety check is free. Parents can have their child’s safety seat inspected for proper installation and be sure the child is being properly restrained before travel.
Certified child passenger safety technicians from the area and one from the Child Health Center’s ProtectME program will be available to conduct inspections. There will be a number of free seats for those who qualify.
