PARIS – General Educational Development pretesting and testing are offered through Oxford Hills Adult Education. Students may enter at any time during the school year. Classes are held at 5:30 p.m. Wednesdays. For more information or to register, call Oxford Hills Adult Education at 743-8842, option 1.

A math lab, with Clancy Allen, is ongoing. Students may enroll for Algebra I, Algebra II or Geometry for high school credit or for review. It is a teacher-assisted self-paced class for most people with no prior experience in algebra or geometry. More than one semester is needed to complete a full credit. The 15-week class meets from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays. Tuition is $50 and the book deposit is $15.

Scrapbooking will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. beginning March 9 and bookmaking from 6 to 8:30 p.m. beginning March 17. Call the Adult Education office for more information.

Nancy Tyrrell will instruct keyboarding. The course meets the requirements for the office skills program and is also useful for people who need to practice their typing skills and gain speed. The course will be taught on IBM compatible computers. One half high school credit for both sessions. The 10-session class will be held from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays, starting March 22. Tuition is $50 and the lab fee is $10.

Computer spreadsheets, Clyde Clark instructing, will use Microsoft Excel. Participants will learn the basics of computer spreadsheets. The four-week class will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursdays, beginning April 28. Tuition is $40 and the lab fee is $10.

Cardio/kickboxing with step aerobics will be led by Cherie Snyder. Each class will consist of 10 minutes of stretching, 30 minutes of low to high intensity cardio followed by 20 minutes of intense floor work focusing on abdominal areas. Bring an exercise mat, weights and step. It will be held from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays starting March 28. Tuition is $48.
