FARMINGTON – A spaghetti supper will be held from 4 to 6:30 p.m. Friday, March 4, at Titcomb Mountain Ski Slope. Menu will include spaghetti, bread, salad, pie and beverage. Cost is adults, $5; children 12 and under, $3.

Kindergarten appointments

FARMINGTON – W.G. Mallett School is taking appointments for kindergarten registration. Parents and guardians with children who will be 5 on or before Oct. 15 and who will begin school this fall need to register the child for school on April 13.

Kindergarten registrations require an appointment to facilitate the process and to curtail waiting. Parents should call the Mallett School at 778-3529, as soon as possible, to make an appointment.

Other area school registration dates include: Cushing School, April 11; Cape Cod Hill School, April 6; Weld School, April 14. Parents should contact those schools for registration times.

Awards night

FARMINGTON – The Mt. Blue Youth Cheering banquet and awards night will be held Tuesday, March 8, at Mt. Blue High School. The evening will begin with a potluck supper at 5 p.m. Those attending are asked to bring a dish to share.

The awards will be given starting at 6 p.m. The banquet and program are sponsored by the Farmington Emblem Club. For more information, contact Shannon Smith at 778-4726.

College workshop

FARMINGTON – Adults considering college are invited to participate in a free college-planning workshop from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, March 10, at the Wilton CareerCenter, 865 Route 2. The workshop is sponsored by the Maine Educational Opportunity Center and is offered free. To register or for more information, call 1-800-281-3703.

Noon luncheon

FARMINGTON – Old South First Congregational Church will serve its monthly free community luncheon from noon to 1 p.m. Saturday, March 12. The menu will include Stan’s Semi-Famous American Chop Suey, coleslaw, rolls and butter and mint chocolate chip ice cream.

Delivery service will be available in Farmington for those unable to attend. Anyone wanting a meal should call the church office during the week, 778-0424, option 4, or the church kitchen on the morning of the luncheon at 778-4438, and leave name, address and directions, phone number and the number of meals wanted.
