AUBURN – Central Maine Community College will offer “Capital Campaigns for Beginners” (FRI006-01), another in its series of fund-raising workshops from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 15.
The workshop will present a basic, easy-to-understand overview of the process of preparing for and conducting a capital campaign. With so many nonprofit organizations conducting capital campaigns, the workshop will help groups and volunteers determine whether this is the best use of their time and resources.
The workshop will be facilitated by Marc Pitman, who has played significant roles in capital campaigns that have raised a combined total of more than $50 million.
To register, people can contact Jennifer Lyons, corporate and community services, Central Maine Community College, 755-5280, or e-mail training@cmcc.edu. The cost of the workshop is $55 and includes materials.
