NEWRY – NBFB, a Boston/Amherst-based funk/rock band, will perform at The Phoenix House at Sunday River Ski Area at 10 p.m. Saturday, March 12. Tickets for the Space Funk Throwdown are free. Attendees must be 21 or older.
NBFB combines elements of funk, rock, reggae and jazz. In concert, it jams on extended solo sections, but grounds itself in creative and ever-changing arrangements. NBFB features Ron Peleg on guitar, Darby Wolf on keyboards, Dan Rehm on bass, Noah Bond on drums, and Bob Moriarty on alto saxophone and vocals.
Their latest CD release, “NiBFib Confidential” will be available at their shows.
