WATERFORD – Holy Week preparations begin at the Waterford Congregational Church with a Palm/Passion worship service at 9:30 a.m. Sunday, March 20, at the church at the foot of Plummer Hill Road in Waterford Village.

A service of Holy Communion and Tenebrae will be held at 7 p.m. on Maundy Thursday, March 24. The choir will sing at the service.

On March 25, Good Friday, the church will be open at noon for people who wish to reflect upon Jesus’ death.

The annual Community Easter Sunrise Service, in which members join with the North Waterford and Stoneham churches and all who gather at the town beach on Keoka Lake, will begin at 5:30 a.m. on Sunday, March 27. After the service, an Easter breakfast will be held at the Wilkins Community House next to the church. Everyone is welcome.

The regular Easter Sunday worship service will be held in the church sanctuary at 9:30 a.m. The choir will sing. The church invites everyone to attend the services.
