GRAY – The wedding of Corissa L. (Cori) Hendon and Jason J. LaPrell was held at noon on Sept. 18 at Spring Meadows in Gray. Danielle Nadeau, friend of the couple, officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. LaPrell is the daughter of Robert and Lynne Hendon of Holiday Island, Ark. Mr. LaPrell is the son of Gerry and Tammy Charette of Poland.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a white strapless satin gown in A-line style with beads, Empire waistline and three-tier layered organza skirt. A Swarovski crystal tiara supported her fingertip veil and she also wore elbow-length satin gloves. The couple grew their flowers, which consisted of multi-colored sunflowers in burgundy, yellow and mixed two-tone shades. The sunflowers also decorated the arbor, centerpieces and bouquets.

Lisa Cote, friend of the bride, served as honor attendant and bridesmaids were Megan Nadeau, friend, and Heather Leonas, daughter of the maid of honor. Paige Leonas, daughter of the maid of honor, was flower girl.

Brian Charette, brother of the bridegroom, was best man and ushers were Gerry Charette, father of the bridegroom, and Jaybe Bourgoin, friend of the couple.

A reception followed at Spring Meadows Country Club in Gray, after which the couple traveled to San Francisco, Calif. They are residing in Lewiston.

The bride received a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Florida Institute of Technology and a master’s degree in occupational therapy from the University of Southern Maine. She is employed as an occupational therapist at the Child Health Center in Auburn.

The bridegroom is a 1998 graduate of Edward Little High School and is a professional CDL operator at V.I.P.
