WILMINGTON, N.Y. – The wedding of Judith Marie Turmenne and Jonathan Michael Bausman was held at 10:30 a.m. on May 29 at the Wilmington Church of the Nazarene. The Revs. Martin Bausman, Robert Goulet of New Life Christian Fellowship in Lewiston and Jeff Jackson of the Whitestone Church of the Nazarene in Whitestone, Va., all officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Bausman is the daughter of Bruce and Anita Turmenne of Auburn. Mr. Bausman is the son of Marty and Julie Bausman of Wilmington, N.Y.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a wedding gown with beaded bodice and tulle skirt and also wore a silver tiara accented with rhinestones and a veil with a thin, white ribbon edging. She carried a bouquet of Calla lilies and burgundy roses, freesia, baby’s breath and cascading ivy, hand-tied with a white satin ribbon.

Elise Sullivan, sister of the bride, was the matron of honor and bridesmaids were Sara Ellingwood, sister of the bride, Janelle Bausman, sister of the bridegroom and Heidi Miller and Sarah Scholl, friends of the bride. Samantha Davol, friend of the bride, was junior bridesmaid.

Andrew Rankin, friend of the bridegroom, performed the duties of best man and ushers were Brady Ellingwood and Jeffrey Sullivan, brothers-in-law of the bride and Ben Scholl and Jasen Lawrence, friends of the bridegroom. Mitchell Miller, friend of the bridegroom, was junior groomsman.

A reception followed at the Howard Johnson in Lake Placid, N.Y., after which the couple traveled to Stowe, Vt. for their honeymoon. They are currently residing in Biddeford.

The bride is a 2000 graduate of Eastgate Christian Academy and a 2004 graduate of Eastern Nazarene College with a degree in psychology. She is employed at Ocean Communities Federal Credit Union.

The bridegroom is a 2000 graduate of Lake Placid High School and a 2004 graduate of Eastern Nazarene College with a degree in biology. He is currently attending the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in Biddeford.
