WATERVILLE – Joel H. B. Biron, a sophomore at Colby College, will travel to Austria and the Czech Republic on a concert tour with the Colby College Chorale March 18 to 26. Biron, the son of Gary and Gisele Biron of Lewiston, is a music major. He is a graduate of Edward Little High School.
The chorale trip includes performances in St. Stephan’s Dom and the Karlskirche in Vienna, Austria and the Abbey of Malk, near the border between Austria and the Czech Republic. The group will then continue on to Prague where they will give a formal concert at St. Nicholas Church. these performances include music by Czech, German, American and British composers.
Upon their return, members of the chorale will present a concert on April 2 in Lorimer Chapel, Colby College.
