AUBURN -“Trial and Error,” a mystery theater production written and directed by Eve Cimmet, will be presented at the March 28 semi-annual membership meeting for Lewiston/Auburn Community Little Theatre.

The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. at the Great Falls Performing Arts Center on Academy Street.

David Lock, membership chairperson, is extending an invitation to nonmembers to attend and join the theater. Annual dues are $10 and will be accepted that evening.

“Trial and Error” opens when a theatrical agent, Vic Timm, lies dead on the floor, having eaten a poisoned cake at his 50th birthday gala.

All fingers point to Justin Tyme, the victim’s personal assistant, played by John Blanchette, as the likely suspect as he stands to inherit everything.

Kathi Asquith as Myrna Loyer, prosecuting attorney, and Phil Brookhouse as Lou Zirr, defense attorney, step in and do mighty battle during the trial that follows. There are lots of laughs and a surprise ending for sure.

Cast members include Linda Britt, Eve Cimmet, Jane Morrison, Ellen Peters, Sharon Young, Tim Pinkham, Mary Turcotte, Cheryl Reynolds, Chip Morrison and Paul G. Caron.
