NEW GLOUCESTER – The wedding of Stacy A. Eaton and Colby R. Major was held at 12:30 p.m. on Sept. 18 in New Gloucester. Lisa Legendre officiated at the ceremony.
Mrs. Major is the daughter of Sandra Eaton of Mechanic Falls and Mr. and Mrs. James Eaton Sr. of Coventry, Conn. Mr. Major is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Mercier of Mechanic Falls.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. Amy Jackson, friend of the couple, was maid of honor and Tarnya Constantino, friend of the couple, was bridesmaid.
Jason Constantino, friend of the couple, was best man and usher was Dan Pulkkinen, friend of the couple. James Major, son of the couple, was ring bearer.
A reception followed at the American Legion Hall in Mechanic Falls. After a wedding trip to the Town and Country in Gorham, N.H., the couple is residing in Hartford.
The bride is a 1992 graduate of Edward Little High School in Auburn and is employed at Banknorth NA.
The bridegroom is a 1994 graduate of Edward Little High School and is employed at Webber Energy Fuel.
