LEWISTON – The following cases were closed recently in 8th District Court.

James Aaron Richards, 31, Auburn, charged with unlawful sexual contact on Jan. 1, transferred to Superior Court.

Roland J. Richards, 50, Oxford, charged with assault on Oct. 13, found guilty, sentenced to 90 days with all but two days suspended and one year probation.

David Richardson, 58, North Turner, charged with burning with failing to extinguish a fire, two counts of burning without a permit and two counts of burning prohibited material on Nov. 30, found guilty on all charges, fined $200 and $800 restitution.

Andrew Ridder, 20, New Gloucester, charged with operating after suspension and attaching false motor vehicle plates on May 16, found guilty on first charge, fined $200; second charge dismissed.

Meghan M. Riley, 23, Auburn, charged with possession of marijuana on Dec. 1, offense committed, fined $200.

Anthony F. Riordan, 38, Lisbon, charged with violating a protective order on Nov. 13, 2003, Dec. 8, 2003, and April 25, 2004, violating a protective order and violating condition of release on Nov. 29, 2003, violating a protective order and two counts of violating condition of release on Dec. 18, 2003, and violating condition of release on Jan. 23, 2004, found guilty on all charges, probation revoked and no sentence imposed for each charge.

Jonathan W. Rivard, 30, Lewiston, charged with assault on Oct. 20, dismissed.

Jonathan Rivera, 25, Lewiston, charged with displaying a false license or ID on June 30 and operating while license suspended or revoked on Jan. 19, found guilty on both charges, fined $50 on first charge; fined $250 on second charge.

Mark A. Roark, 20, Turner, charged with theft by unauthorized taking or transfer on Dec. 8, found guilty, fined $100.

Daryl Scott Roberts, 21, Auburn, charged with disorderly conduct on Nov. 17, found guilty, fined $150.

Laura M. Roberts, 34, Auburn, charged with burglary on Aug. 1, transferred to Superior Court.

Matthew Donald Roberts, 21, Lewiston, charged with discharging a firearm near a dwelling on Oct. 30, found guilty, fined $200.

Stephanie A. Roberts, 20, Lewiston, charged with sale and use of drug paraphernalia on Nov. 21, offense committed, fined $75.

Dartmouth D. Robinson, 33, Lisbon, charged with operating while license suspended or revoked, operating a vehicle with an expired temporary registration and operating under the influence on July 7, found guilty on first charge, fined $200; second charge dismissed; found guilty on third charge, fined $600, sentenced to seven days and license suspended for 18 months.

Tony Lee Robinson, 30, Lewiston, charged with assault on Oct. 30, found guilty, fined $100.

Steven D. Robitaille, 27, Lewiston, charged with violating condition of release on June 4 and operating after suspension on June 4 and June 30, found guilty first charge, fined $150; found guilty on second charge, fined $200; third charge dismissed.

Alicia Roddy, 32, Leeds, charged with operating while license suspended or revoked on Nov. 18, found guilty, fined $250.

Wanda M. Rogers, 41, Lewiston, charged with operating a vehicle with expired temporary registration on Nov. 8, found guilty, fined $100.

Brian Roux, 39, Auburn, charged with assault on Nov. 7, transferred to Superior Court.

Clifford Roy, 38, Lewiston, charged with criminal trespass on April 19, and assault and refusing to submit to arrest or detention on Oct. 17, first charge dismissed, fined $50; found guilty on second charge, sentenced to 160 days with all suspended and one year probation; second charge dismissed.

Lawrence Roy, 28, Lewiston, charged with disorderly conduct and criminal mischief on Nov. 14, found guilty on both charges, sentenced to 30 days for each charge.

Mark E. Roy, 42, charged with three counts of criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon on Dec. 28, all charges transferred to Superior Court.

Michael S. Roy, 21, Lewiston, charged with criminal mischief on Aug. 2, found guilty, fined $100.

Benjamin Roylance, 28, South Paris, charged with sale and use of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana on Dec. 6, offense committed on both charges, fined $75 on first charge; fined $200 on second charge.

Louis J. Rubino Jr., 23, Poland, charged with operating after suspension on June 13, 2003, found not guilty.

John K. Russell, 41, Greenwood, charged with possession of marijuana on Aug. 14, offense committed, fined $200.

Robert B. Ryan, 20, Lisbon Falls, charged with transportation of liquor by a minor on Sept. 13, fined $100 and license suspended for 30 days by default.

Ahmed Hussein Samater, 45, Lewiston, charged with assault and violating condition of release on Sept. 22 and criminal trespass and violating condition of release on Nov. 5, found guilty on first charge, sentenced to 10 days; second, third and fourth charges dismissed.

Selena A. Samson, 33, Lewiston, charged with unlawful possession of a scheduled drug and two counts of unlawful furnishing of a scheduled drug on Aug. 20, found guilty on first charge, fined $300; second and third charges dismissed.

Richard J. Saucier Jr., 19, Lewiston, charged with burglary of a motor vehicle and theft by unauthorized taking or transfer on Nov. 1, both charges transferred to Superior Court.

Daryan B. Saunders, 29, Auburn, charged with assault, criminal mischief and refusing to submit to arrest or detention on Aug. 22, all charges sent to jury trial.

Erin Schneider, 24, Lewiston, charged with assault on Sept. 14 and drinking in public, disorderly conduct and refusing to submit to arrest or detention on Sept. 26, found guilty on first charge, fined $100; second charge dismissed; found guilty on third charge, fined $100; fourth charge dismissed.

Libby St. Pierre, 30, Auburn, charged with operating while license suspended or revoked and unlawful use of a license on Sept. 8, found guilty on first charge, fined $250; second charge dismissed.

Richard Stewart, 37, Monmouth, charged with assault on Dec. 6, 2003 and operating under the influence on Oct. 12, probation violation on first charge, sentenced to 30 days and probation partially revoked; found guilty on second charge, fined $1,100, sentenced to 90 days and license suspended for four years.

Richard E. Stewart, 37, Leeds, charged with possession of marijuana on Oct. 12, dismissed.

Gayland J. Stone, 32, Lewiston, charged with operating after habitual offender revocation on Nov. 1, transferred to Superior Court.

Wesley L. Stover, 21, Lewiston, charged with disorderly conduct on Nov. 2, found guilty, fined $75.

Christopher Strout, 18, West Bath, charged with operating a vehicle without a license on Nov. 28, found guilty, fined $100.

Joey L. Strout Jr., 27, Leeds, charged with operating while license suspended or revoked and unlawful use of a license on Oct. 6, found guilty on both charges, fined $500 on first charge; unconditional discharge on second charge.

Justin Stubbs, 21, Portland, charged with robbery on Dec. 12, transferred to Superior Court.

Eileen C. Sullivan, 22, New Bedford, Mass., charged with possession of marijuana on Nov. 4, fined $200 by default.

T and D Contractors Inc., Durham, charged with a missing or broken brake components rule violation on Sept. 14, dismissed.

Mikel E. Tabor, 24, Lisbon, charged with disorderly conduct on Nov. 25, found guilty, fined $75.

Tracy Tarbox, 32, Lewiston, charged with endangering the welfare of a child on May 24, found guilty, sentenced to community service within 40 hours.

David Teich, 49, Lewiston, charged with criminal threatening, terrorizing and obstructing the report of a crime on Dec. 15, all charges dismissed.

Courtney A. Temm, 23, Lewiston, charged with possession of marijuana and sale and use of drug paraphernalia on Sept. 7, fined $225 on first charge by default; fined $100 on second charge by default.

Sidney W. Thaxter, 22, Bronx, N.Y., charged with theft by unauthorized taking or transfer on Aug. 28, found guilty, fined $100.

Christopher M. Theriault, 20, Auburn, charged with possession of liquor by a minor on Nov. 13, offense committed, fined $200.

Robert Theriault, 51, Dixfield, charged with operating a vehicle without a license on Dec. 9, found guilty, fined $200.
