AUBURN – The Young at Heart Fellowship will meet at noon Tuesday, March 22, at the Court Street Baptist Church to attend the Lenten service. A luncheon will follow with a cost of $4. There will be a business meeting at 1 p.m. with Co-Presidents Mary and Winston Greaton presiding. The program will be given by Rick Messanna, pastor of the North Livermore Baptist Church. He will present readings and music. All senior citizens are invited.

Teen to entertain

AUBURN – The Androscoggin Valley Square and Compass Club will meet on Thursday, March 24, at the American Legion Home on Washington Street North. Supper will be served at 6:30 p.m. at a cost of $6 each.

Elijah Jensen, 14-year-old musician from Naples, will provide the entertainment. Reservations must be made by calling 784-0663 for an answering service.

LEWISTON – The Lewiston Housing Authority’s Asset Building Community Program will present an informational session from 10 to 11:30 a.m. and 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, March 31, at the B Street Community Center, corner of Bates and Birch streets.

Topics will include the Section 8 Home Ownership Program, described by Dave Projansky of Lewiston Housing; the Family Self-Sufficiency Program, Rita Herrick, Lewiston Housing; Family Development Accounts, Janet Smith, Women, Work and Community; and Buying or Building a Home, Linda Dube, Community Concepts.
