EAST SUMNER – A Maundy Thursday service with communion, hand washing and storytelling will be held at 7 p.m. March 24 at the Congregational Church. A Good Friday service will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, March 25. Easter sunrise service will be held at 6 a.m. with the choir. Breakfast will follow at 7 a.m.; Easter service at 9 a.m. with the choir. There will be no Sunday school.

Easter walk

NORWAY – Second Congregational Church, 205 Main St., will hold a Maundy Thursday service starting will supper at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, March 24, followed by the service of Tenebrae and communion at 6:30 p.m.

Good Friday services will be held with the Good Friday Walk at 1 p.m. March 25, beginning at the Unitarian Universalist Church and ending at the Trinity Lutheran Church in South Paris. All area churches and walkers are welcome.

Easter sunrise service will be held at 6 a.m. March 27 in the church parking lot. Breakfast will be served following the service at the church. Easter worship service will be held at 10 a.m. There will be no Sunday school.

Easter Sunday

LOVELL – The Lovell United Church of Christ will hold a Maundy Thursday at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 24, at the church on Route 5, Center Lovell. A Good Friday prayer vigil will be held from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, March 25, at the church.

Easter sunrise service will be held at 6 a.m., including a potluck breakfast at the Sweden Community Church. Easter service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, March 27.

OXFORD – The Grace Fellowship Church will hold an Easter sunrise service at 6 a.m. Sunday, March 27, at the church on Poplar Drive. Regular Easter service will be held at 10:15 a.m. For information, phone Pastor Waterhouse at 674-2733 or Assistant Pastor Parsons at 539-9064.

Easter Sunday

PARIS – The South Paris Baptist Church welcomes all to the Easter Sunday services on March 27. There will be an early morning service with a special speaker at 8 a.m. at the church followed by a breakfast at 8:30. The regular Easter worship service will be held at 10 a.m.

The morning worship service will include the choir singing the Easter musical “I am the Resurrection” by Marty Parks. Congregational singing will include traditional Easter hymns and contemporary praise songs led by the praise team.

A couple of special musical pieces and a special Easter message by Pastor Jim Beliasov will round out the morning. Although there will be no Sunday school on that morning, care for children through grade one will be provided during the morning service.

The church is located at 1 Park St. next to the South Paris post office.
