NORWAY – Steve Mohr will present a slide presentation of found landscape art in Maine in collaboration with the Oxford Hills Libraries’ project, One Book, One Community.

Like the evening’s topic, which was chosen to reflect elements of the Maine novel, “Ernie’s Ark,” Mohr of Portland-based Mohr and Seredin Landscape Architects is humorous and inspiring, organizers said. The free presentation will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 24, at the Norway Public Library, 151 Main St.

Sale extended

OXFORD – The tree and shrub sale deadline for the Oxford County Soil and Water Conservation District has been extended. The new deadline for placing orders is Monday, April 18. Those wanting more information should call Heidi Linscott, office manager, 743-5789, ext. 101.

Annual supper

OXFORD – The Oxford County Soil and Water Conservation District will celebrate a successful year of conservation at the annual supper with guest speaker and awards. at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, April 7, at the First Congregational Church, 17 East Main St., South Paris.

The menu will consist of pot roast with potatoes, carrots, celery and onions, along with rolls and Mississippi mud pie. Sugar-free chocolate pie will be available. The cost is $7 a person.
