WINTHROP – All who desire are invited to submit nominations for the 2005 Winthrop Spirit of America Foundation Awards for outstanding volunteerism in the community.
Nominations may be made in five categories: youth, adult, senior adult, new project and ongoing project. Each nomination should explain what the individual or the project has done to help the people of Winthrop.
Nomination forms may be picked up at the Winthrop Town Office, Hoyt Chiropractic Center and several other locations. All completed forms must be returned by the deadline of Monday, April 11, to the Winthrop Town Office or to the Hoyt Chiropractic Center on Route 202.
This year’s program is being organized by the Winthrop Chapter, Spirit of America Foundation. The awards presentation ceremony will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 26, in the vestry of the Winthrop Congregational Church. All are welcome.
