Jay Elementary

JAY – Jay Elementary School kindergarten registration has been scheduled for Tuesday, April 5, from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 5 to 7 p.m. (no appointment necessary) in the Jay Elementary School office.

To register, the child must be 5 years old on or before Oct. 15 It is necessary to have the child’s birth certificate, immunization record and Social Security number at the time of registration.

The immunization record can be obtained from the child’s physician. A certified copy of the child’s birth certificate can be picked up at the town office where the child was born or at the town where residing in at the time of birth. The cost in Jay for a copy of a birth certificate is $7.

Residents are asked to tell anyone they know who has a kindergarten-age student that they must register on April 5 or notify the elementary school office at 897-5719 of their intent to register for the fall 2005.

Livermore-Livermore Falls

LIVERMORE – Residents of Livermore and Livermore Falls with children who will be 5 years old on or before Oct. 15 are asked to set an appointment to register their child to start school in the fall.

The appointment may be set by calling Livermore Elementary secretaries at 897-3355 or stopping by the school office at any time prior to April 8. A registration packet is available for those wishing to complete part of the process prior to registration day.

If a child is attending the school’s kindergarten program for 4-year-olds, parents do not have to attend registration.

The registration process takes 15 to 20 minutes and parents are asked to bring their child’s official birth certificate, Social Security card and immunization record.
