GARDINER – The Oxford Hills Business Development Network will host a Maine Technology Institute overview workshop Friday, April 22.

It will be led by Joe Migliaccio, MTI Development Award program manager, and Simon Varney, Tech Tracker manager.

The workshop will take place from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Western Maine University and Community College Center in South Paris.

The Maine Technology Institute offers programs that fund innovative research and development technology based projects that lead to commercialization. Participants will learn how they may be eligible for a $10,000 Seed Grant, a $500,000 Development Award, or a $200,000 Cluster Enhancement Award.

MTI also provides federal award technical assistance and commercialization assistance to help people get their innovations to the market.
