RUMFORD – The Parents and Teachers Helping Students organization at St. Athanasius-St. John School is gearing up for the live auction to be held at 6:30 p.m. Friday, April 8, at the new Black Mountain lodge.

Committee members have gathered many items from local and out-of-town businesses as well as parents and individuals.

Articles include a two-carat Maine tourmaline pendant, quilts, Loudon race tickets, Fun Town pass, Longaberger baskets, newspaper and magazine subscriptions, Creative Memories scrapbooking supplies, “Set it and Forget It” oven, ski passes, cord of wood, swim passes, Bethel Inn one-night stay w/round of golf, two American Girl dolls, savings bonds and scenic plane rides.

The proceeds will allow PATHS to assist St. Athanasius-St. John School in completing the new science lab. PATHS also aids in the purchase of classroom items for teachers, updating of the computer lab and participation of students and faculty in educational and cultural events.

Doors will open at 5 p.m. Auctioneer will be Mark Prevost. The public is invited.
