CANTON – The Oxford County Bicentennial Quilt will be on display at the VFW building from 2 to 6:30 p.m. Saturday, April 9. There will be other displays by the Grammy’s Quilters Choice women and the Canton Historical Society. Mabel Adam’s quilt, which the women helped finish, will be on display.
Prayer breakfast
DIXFIELD – The next Tres Dias prayer breakfast will be held at 7:30 a.m. Saturday, April 9, at the Dixfield Congregational Church, High Street. Coffee will be provided. For more information, call 364-8083.

RUMFORD – Mexico High School class of 1954 will hold a luncheon at noon Saturday, April 9, at the River Valley Grill, Exchange Street. Call 364-8689 to make reservations.
Sign-ups listed
HANOVER – The Rumford Point Community Athletic Association has announced that sign-ups for the 2005 Farm League, Little League and Babe Ruth season will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, April 10, at the Hanover Town Office, Route 2.
All children ages 6 to 15 from Rumford Point and Hanover are encouraged to sign up. Registration fee is $15 a child or $20 for two or more children in the same family.
A meeting to discuss the upcoming season, the field clean-up day and bottle drive will be held at 6 p.m. Sunday, April 17, at the Hanover Town Office.
