LEWISTON – St. Patrick’s Parish held its annual St. Patrick’s Day Dinner on March 17, celebrating its patron saint. The Rev. Tom Farley was the celebrant at a 5 p.m. Mass.
Dinner followed in the Msgr. Gleason Parish Hall where parishioners were served the traditional corned beef and cabbage dinner. The event was hosted by the Church Life Commission.
A dancing demonstration by Jeannette and Stuart Gross’s Irish Dancing Group was followed by an audience participation sing-a-long of popular Irish songs.
Dinner Committee members were Frank O’Connell, Tom Freeman, Bud Richer, Bob Ouellette, Ron Gagnon, Anne Elizabeth Clabby, Claire Gagnon, Irene Martin, Heather Martin, Sharon Poulin and Charles Poulin. The event was chaired by Frank and Pauline O’Connell.
