NORWAY – The Norway Memorial Library has a children’s program planned for 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Friday, April 8. The library will offer a totem pole craft for children ages 7 to 12. Traveling arts and crafts teacher Cheryl Johnson will lead the kids.

Sunday leader

PARIS – The Rev. Dr. Janet Bowering will be the worship leader at the 10 a.m. service of the First Universalist Church, 36 Pine St., South Paris. Bowering is a retired Universalist minister and educator. She is active in the New Massachusetts Universalist Convention. Renee Wales will lead the Sunday school and the music will be by Forest Perkins, church organist. Child care will be provided. The coffee hour will follow in Good Cheer Hall. Everyone is welcome.

Band to play

WATERFORD – The Oxford County Education Association-Retired will meet on Friday, April 15, at the North Waterford Congregational Church.

The social period will start at 10:30 a.m. with the business meeting at 11. The afternoon program will be music by the Felt Band. The scholarship fund-raiser will be a $1 donation. All retired educational personnel are invited. Those who are not on a phone tree should call 583-4408 to reserve a lunch.
