NORWAY – Sunday worship, April 24, at the Norway Universalist Church UU, will be led by Rev. Robert C. Sallies, former minister at the church, with music directed by Heather Pierson. The topic will be “Religion and Morality.” Service begins at 11 a.m.

Workshops

BRIDGTON – The Oxford Hills SCORE Chapter has scheduled workshops in Business Planning for Business Start-ups which will be offered during May and June in Bridgton, under the auspices of the SAD 72 Continuing Education Center and the Lake Region Development Council. Workshops will be held on successive Wednesday evenings, at the Learning Center, Depot Street, fom 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. The schedule is: Preparing a Business Plan, May 18; Marketing, May 25; Cash Flow Projection, June 1; Financing a Small Business, June 8.

The workshops will be presented by members of SCORE and the Small Business Development Center/AVCOG. The fee for the four-session workshop is $45 and includes participation by one business partner or spouse. Advance registration and payment is required with the either the SAD 72 Continuing Education Center, Superintendent’s Office, 30-A Portland St., Fryeburg, or Lake Region Development Council at (207) 655-2700. Children’s show

BERLIN, N.H. – Wayne from Maine, children’s recording artist, will appear at the Community Arts Center, 155 Emery St., at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 7. Wayne inspires young minds to think and laugh with his own brand of “edu-tainment.” He offers a musical journal for the young at heart. Tickets are $8 at the door.
