NORWAY – Maine mystery author Lea Wait will give a book talk on her Antique Print Mystery Series at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 21, at the Norway Memorial Library, Main Street.
Combining her love of antique prints with her love of writing, her mysteries feature antique dealer Maggie Smith and blend the history of the valuable antique prints with murder, suspense and intrigue.
Wait comes from a long line of antique dealers, including her mother, grandmother and great-grandfather. She is a resident of Edgecomb and has owned her own antique print business for more than 25 years.
Wait also writes historical novels for young readers and will spend the afternoon of April 21 with children from grades four through seven in the children’s department of the library.
Her presentation there will focus on the process of writing one of her historical fiction novels.
