WILTON – Franklin Grange 50 is observing Grange Month-April 2005 by inviting community members to an open house to learn more about their purpose, programs and activities.
In addition, the grange will acknowledge the good works of a community citizen by presenting an outstanding individual with the “Grange Community Citizen Award.”
The open house will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 23, at Franklin Grange 50 on the Weld Road. The hall is about five miles up from Main Street and is located on the right.
All members of the community of any age are invited. Guests will include Wilton Police Chief Wayne Gallant, Rep. Thomas Saviello and Wilton Town Manager Peter Neilsen.
