READFIELD – Dick and Kathy Gray of Monmouth are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Melissa Gray of Readfield, to Jason Tims of Readfield, son of Allen and Cindy Tims.
Miss Gray is a 1997 graduate of Monmouth Academy and a 2001 graduate of Western New England College in Springfield, Mass. She is employed at the Kennebec Journal in Augusta.
Mr. Tims is a 1999 graduate of Maranacook Community High School and a 2000 graduate of Kennebec Valley Technical College. He is employed at FairPoint New England.
A Sept. 3 wedding will be held at 3 p.m. at the Jesse Lee Church in Readfield.
