CAMDEN – The wedding of Angela Brooke Howard and Ryan Christopher Seely was held at 1 p.m. on Oct. 3 at the Norumbega Castle. The Rev. Kathleen H.N. Towns officiated at the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Barbara Howard of Old Town and Moncenia Howard of Corinna. The bridegroom is the son of Jean and James Seely of Pownal.

The bride was given in marriage by her mother. Kara Kaufmann, friend of the bride, was matron of honor and bridesmaids were Paula Malkin Kershaw and Kristina Swanson, friends of the bride, and Amanda Seely, sister of the bridegroom.

Jason Stuart, friend of the bridegroom, served as best man. The bridegroom’s party included Rees Shad, Tom Van Waardhuizen and Jessica Reed, friends of the bridegroom. Ushers were Andy Reid, David Kershaw and George Kaufmann, friends of the couple.

A special reading was given by Megan Whritenour, cousin of the bride.

A reception followed at the Norumbega Castle in Camden, after which the couple traveled to the United Kingdom.

The bride attended John Bapst Memorial High School in Bangor, the University of Maine and the University of New Haven. She is employed as an investigator for the United States Investigation Services Inc.

The bridegroom attended Cheverus High School, the University of Maine and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He is employed as manager for documentation and training at Standard-Knapp, Inc.
