LEWISTON – The wedding of Candice S. Packard and Joseph G. Cerracchio was held at 5 p.m. on May 22 at the Bates College Chapel. Brother James Miller of King’s College, officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Cerracchio is the daughter of Scott and Lucy Packard of Lewiston. Mr. Cerracchio is the son of Linda Cerracchio of Garfield, N.J., and the late Peter Cerracchio.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a two-piece organza gown with A-line skirt and crystal beaded embroidery on the bodice and train. A prism tipped tiara supported her veil and she carried a cascade of Stargazer lilies, roses, orchids, miniature daisies and greens.

Karen Desjardins and Julie Pashley, friends of the bride, were maids of honor and bridesmaids were Sharon Cerracchio, sister of the bridegroom, Chelsea and Crystal Packard, sisters of the bride, and Penny Streby, friend of the bride. The flower girl was Skyler Theodora, niece of the bridegroom.

Serving as best men were Charles Wasserott V and Erik DeLong, friends of the bridegroom, and ushers were Brian Mason, Daniel Kolibab and Patrick Moelk, friends of the bridegroom.

Readings were done by friends of the couple, Alia DeLong and John Lavin, Esq.

A reception followed at the Hilton Garden Inn in Auburn, after which the couple traveled to Key West. They are residing in Emmaus, Pa.

The bride received a master’s degree for physician assistant from King’s College in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., and is employed at Gastroenterology Associates at Allentown, Pa.

The bridegroom received degrees in biology and environmental science from King’s College in Wilkes-Barry, Pa. He is employed as territory manager at Kemira Chemicals.
