AUBURN – The fifth annual Mother/Daughter/Doll Tea will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 30, at the Woman’s Literary Union clubhouse, 19 Elm St.

Dolls on display will be from the private collection of the union as well as favorite dolls of club members. Well-nown storyteller Dorothy Darling Gatchell will choose from the selection various dolls for her creative stories.

Daughters of all ages are invited to attend with their mothers, grandmothers or aunts.

Refreshments will consist of tea and punch with dainty pastries.

Reservations are not necessary. Cost will be $6 for adults and $2 for each child. Story times are scheduled for 1:15, 2:15 and 3:15. Doll accessories such as doll quilts and clothes will be available for purchase.

Event chairwoman is WLU President Cathy Westleigh, with Evelyn Larrabee, Ruth Farnsworth and Marilyn Wilkinson as her committee. Farnsworth is in charge of the kitchen preparations with Marguerite Powers, Barbara Goff, Jackie O’Donnell and Lorraine Desjardin. Evelyn Larrabee and Jeanne Pacheco will be pourers.
