LIVERMORE FALLS – The Livermore Falls, Jay Senior Citizens met April 18 at Murray Hall with 32 members present. Shirley Couture opened the meeting with a prayer, salute to the flag and a moment of silence for departed members and the men and women in the armed forces.

Thought for the day was “The happiest people in the world take what they have been dealt and make it a winning hand.”

Mary Groleau led the group in singing “America.” It was noted that Gloria Trembley is on the sick list and Marilyn Desoto had an MRI. It was also noted that Lunda Henry had died.

At the next meeting the group will have their monthly meal from SeniorsPlus which will consist of chili with ground beef, steamed rice, corn, wheat roll and chunky fruit salad.

There will be no meeting on May 2 and on May 9 the group will have a casserole meal.

The 50-50 was won by Aurelien Couture. The meeting was adjourned and cards were enjoyed.
