MEXICO – The First Baptist Church of Mexico will host broadcaster Bill Early of Trans-World Radio as speaker at the church’s annual Missions Conference Thursday through Sunday, April 28 to May 1.

During the special services at 6:30 p.m. and the regular 10:45 a.m. Sunday worship service, Early will speak on “Strengthening Your Faith Through Faith-Promise Giving.”

Members and visitors to the church at 20 Roxbury Road will also hear about Early’s 14-year ministry with his wife, Lois, on the Caribbean island of Bonaire, then two years in Miami, Fla.

While all of their ministries to date have concentrated on gospel radio broadcasting, the Earlys have also devoted energy to mobilizing U.S. churches in support, through prayer and finances, of the spread of the gospel by radio in more than 190 languages. Internationally, Trans-World Radio supplies programming through more than 2,600 transmitters and repeater towers.

While still involved in writing and producing radio programs from their home in Lititz, Pa., Early also devotes time to the local church, Bible Fellowship Church of Ephrata, where he is an elder of the congregation.

Anyone wishing more information about the meetings should call the church at 364-8712.
