LEWISTON – Raymond and Susan Harps of Lewiston are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Melissa Harps, to Scott Vyr of Groton, Conn., son of Normand Vyr of New Gloucester and Rejeanne Blackerby of Sugar Hill, Ga..
Miss Harps is a 1999 graduate of St. Dominic Regional High School and is currently employed at Banknorth, N.A.
Mr. Vyr is a 2000 graduate of Mechanic Falls Regional High School and is currently serving in the U.S. Navy.
The couple will be married on May 21 at Holy Cross Church, with a reception to follow at the Carriage House Plus in Lewiston.
