LEWISTON – Normand and Jeanne d’Arc Lemay of Lewiston, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary recently with their family. The event was planned by their children, Lucille, Paul and Marcel and spouses.

Flowers decorated the room and the couple received cards and gifts of money. A scrapbook with pictures from their original wedding were on display. Paul Lemay was toastmaster.

Mr. Lemay and the former Jeanne d’Arc Chouinard were married on Nov. 27, 1954, at St. Mary’s Church. Their children are Lucille Lemay Hall and Paul and Marcel Lemay. Their grandchildren are Travis Lemay, Lynzee Parker, Jeanne Hall, Justin Lemay, Kevin Lemay and Angel Lemay.

Mr. Lemay is retired from Bates of Maine and is currently employed at Shaw’s Supermarket in Lewiston. He is a member of the Knights of Columbus, Council 106 and is a Fourth Degree member of T.H. Wallace Assembly, 0338. He attends St. Louis Church in Auburn.

Mrs. Lemay is retired from d’Youville Pavilion and is a member of Wallace Wives Assembly and attends St. Louis Church in Auburn.
