LEWISTON – Mr. and Mrs. Ephraim G. Koilpillai of Chennai, India, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Rebekah C. Ephraim, to Micah Paul Garneau, son of Nancy Garneau of Southport, N.C., and the late Paul D.D. Garneau, following a formal betrothal ceremony in India.
Ms. Ephraim, a graduate of Bethany College of Missions in Minnesota, is currently on assignment in Vaughn, Wash.
Mr. Garneau, who attended Rumford/Mexico schools and graduated from Lewiston High School, is currently on assignment in Bangladesh but will return to Bethany College of Missions, where he is expected to graduate in December. He is the grandson of Midell Garneau of Peru and the late E. John Garneau.
A June 12 wedding is planned in Minnesota.
