LEWISTON – Announcement is made of the engagement of Monique Fortin and Kevin Landry, both of Lewiston.

The future bride is the daughter of Claire Fortin and the late Paul Fortin. The future bridegroom is the son of Robert and Darquise Landry of Lewiston.

Miss Fortin is a graduate of Palm Beach Gardens High School in Florida and a 1993 graduate of the University of Maine at Orono. She is currently employed as a literacy educational technician at Sherwood Heights Elementary School in Auburn and is working on her master’s degree in literacy at Lewiston-Auburn College.

Mr. Landry is a 1980 graduate of Lewiston High School and a 1999 graduate of Central Maine Community College. He is currently employed as a quality control engineer at FHC in Bowdoinham.

The wedding and reception will be held in the fall at the Franco-American Heritage Center in Lewiston.
