NEW SHARON – Kevin and Mary McShane of New Sharon are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Catherine P. McShane, to Jeremiah J. Whitmore, son of Michael and Doreen Whitmore of Embden.
Miss McShane graduated from Mt. Blue High School and earned a bachelor’s degree from St. Michael’s College in Colchester, Vt. She is a Spanish teacher at Jay Middle School.
Mr. Whitmore graduated from Mt. Blue High School and the University of Maine at Orono. He is employed as an electrical engineer for the Fitch Company.
An August wedding is planned at Embden Pond.
