AUGUSTA – A total of 2,027 college students will graduate from Maine’s seven community colleges at commencement ceremonies around the state this weekend.

Speakers, times and dates, are as follows (locations are on campus unless otherwise noted):

Friday, May 13, 2 p.m.: Central Maine Community College, Gov. John E. Baldacci; 11 a.m., Washington County Community College, Calais, State Sen. Kevin Raye, Calais High School.

Saturday, May 14, 9:30 a.m. and 1 p.m.: Eastern Maine Community College, Bangor, 9:30 speaker, Dr. John Fitzsimmons, president, Maine Community College System; 1 p.m. speaker, Gov. John E. Baldacci; 10 a.m., Northern Maine Community College, Presque Isle, Nick Bayne, president/CEO, Maine and Maritimes Corp.; 1 p.m., York County Community College, Wells, Joel Stevens, president/CEO, Kennebunk Savings Bank.

Sunday, May 15, 2 p.m.: Kennebec Valley Community College, Fairfield, Rep. Michael H. Michaud, Augusta Civic Center; noon, Southern Maine Community College, South Portland, Rep. Tom Allen, Cumberland County Civic Center, Portland.
